Jeanne Darrah is committed to helping people find grace in the biggest transition we must face. Her law practice brings her legal and real world experience together to provide cost efficient, meaningful results for her clients. After working for the San Francisco Superior Court for three years as a research attorney, Ms. Darrah practiced civil litigation before opening her own practice in estate planning and probate law. She externed for 6 months in the Probate Department researching motions and holding ex parte hearings.
While raising her three kids, Ms. Darrah used her legal training in San Francisco and as a community activist. In that capacity she spearheaded building Potrero del Sol skate park and, as a representative to the Parks and Recreation Open Space Committee, assured the allocation of over $13 million in park bond money was spent to improve the parks and open spaces in the Mission and Bernal Heights.
Ms. Darrah has a strong a tradition of service, and deep ties to the community. Ms. Darrah served six years on the board of directors of Friends of the Urban Forest in San Francisco and currently serves on the board of Dearden’s Corporation in Los Angeles. She also volunteers for the Aids Legal Referral Panel. Ms. Darrah is a member of the Estate and Probate sections of the California Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. She is currently in the LLM Program in Estate Planning at Golden Gate University Law School. She graduated from Hastings Law School and UC Santa Barbara. She is fluent in French.
